The web 2.0 syndrome has taken over the web. If you don’t have a web 2.0 design your not hip and cool and trendy anymore.
A key feature of these designs are they’re gradients. If you want to make yourself a web 2.0 site than the gradients created by Navdeep will sure come in handy.

All you have to do now is put the “beta” text under your logo and your done. Web 2.0 baby, just the way you like it.

Ever since CS, Photoshop has had a feature called “Layer Comps”, which is largely underutilized by designers. The concept of the Layer Comps is very simple, it’s just a quick way to take a “snapshot” of which layers are turned on and which layers are turned off in your document. Think “compositions”. Some Adobe Photoshop files get to be VERY complicated in terms of number of layers, and it can be useful and efficient to be able to jump back and forth between different “states” of your document.

This really is a simple Adobe Photoshop tutorial; change the colour of your feed icon to fit your wordpress theme colour.

1. Save the above icon into your computer and open it with Adobe Photoshop.

2. Right-click on the icon layer in layer palettes and select blending option from the menu.

3. Tick and select on Colour Overlay. Change blend mode to color (from normal)

4. Set the colour of your wish and you are done with the feed icon colour!.

5. Resize it to fit in your blog; Image > Image Size.. or [Alt]+[Ctrl]+I
